Summer School

Summer courses are available to provide an opportunity to make up credits. There are limited spaces available, and classes fill quickly. Counselors schedule students based on need after the 1st semester and reevaluate need through the end of the school year. If your student does not get into a class they need, they may try to add a course on the first day of Summer School: Monday, June 8th at 8:00 am. Many courses are currently full, but space may become available if a student does not report on the first day.

The following apply during summer school:

Students who do not attend the first day of summer school may be dropped.
Attendance is a crucial aspect of summer school. Course-work in condensed and entire units/topics are covered each period each day. Absences & tardies make it a challenge to successfully complete summer school. Perfect attendance is encouraged.
The school discipline plan is in place during Summer School. Discipline problems are not tolerated. Going to Summer School is a privilege that can be revoked if a student's behavior does not improve after one warning.
Students will need to bring their Chromebook device fully charged every day. If you need a device, please contact your counselor or the Curriculum office. Incoming Freshmen will receive their WU Chromebook on the first day of summer school.
Our dress code policy will be strictly enforced.
