ACTIVITY CLEARANCE

Students interested in participating in school sponsored events or extra curricular activities must clear by routing a clearance form through the Attendance Office and the Business & Activities Office.  All requirements from each office must be met before clearance is given and students are allowed to purchase tickets


ACTIVITY PERMITS 
Activity permits must be obtained 72 hours in advance of the activity from the activity supervisor, coach, club advisor, or teacher.  Permits signed by parents and teachers must be returned to the activity supervisor 24 hours prior to the activity. Teachers have the right to refuse permission for students to leave their class for activities.
 
ID CARDS/ASB CARDS 
Pictures for student ID cards are taken during School Picture days in May & Fall Enrollment days in July/August. These school pictures are used for the ID card.  The fee for lost ID cards is $5.00 for each replacement.  Students may buy ASB throughout the year in the Business and Activities Office for a $50.00 fee.  The ASB symbol on their ID card entitles students to discount prices for school events and FREE admission to all HOME WHS sporting events. 
************You MUST have an ASB card to receive a Varsity Letter/Emblem/Bar/Star.*********
 
ID Cards must be carried at ALL times & students must show their ID card to enter or exit campus.  
If you do not have one, you will be issued a new ID card and charged $5.00.
The first initial ID card is FREE.
Only 2 gates will be open in the morning:  
  1. Whittier Ave Horseshoe Gate - 8:30am
  2. Lindley Ave (between the "A" Bldg./Cafeteria/MPR & the Weight Room) - 7:45am
If you arrive after 9:10am you MUST enter on Whittier Ave.
Students on bikes or skateboards should enter at Lindley, walk their transportation to the gated area (south of the MN Bldg.) where your bike/skateboard must be locked. 
 
After lunch, Security will allow students who do not have a 5th or 6th period to exit with their bikes/skateboards from the gate on Philadelphia nearest to the bike racks.  Students must show their ID card to exit.
