Mrs. Gurrola • school counselor • Miller - Rodarte & AVID Counselor
Welcome Cardinals. I hope that you're doing well in these challenging times. The Whittier High School guidance office is here to support your students as they navigate their high school years. I am here to support and guide my students both academically and with social/emotional issues. I hope that all of our students are able to access their school work through their teacher websites. If you need to get ahold of me please don't hesitate to e-mail me at [email protected] or call me at (562) 698-8121 x2034. We'll be on spring break next week so I won't be available during that time. I'll check my messages when spring break ends. Additionally I'm providing links to resources you can utilize during our break from school.
Some relaxing things you can do are: Go for walks, write your thoughts in a journal, draw pictures, write letters to elderly relatives, talk to friends on phone or through FaceTime and sit under a tree. Nature has healing properties.
