Dual Enrollment

Rio Hondo College partners with local school districts to offer high school students the opportunity to earn college and high school credit at the same time tuition-free. Students can earn college credit that can be applied towards Rio Hondo College certificates and/or degrees. Many Dual Enrollment courses are also be eligible for transfer to a CSU or UC institution and reduce the amount of coursework towards a four-year degree.

Summer 2025 Courses

Step 1: Complete Summer 2025 Dual Enrollment Application on Rio Hondo website (steps below)

Step 2: Complete Dual Enrollment Petition Form with required signatures. (Parent/Guardian, Student, and Counselor Signature)

Step 3: Turn in completed application to the New Horizons Office.
