Dual Enrollment

Rio Hondo College partners with local school districts to offer high school students the opportunity to earn college and high school credit at the same time tuition-free. Students can earn college credit that can be applied towards Rio Hondo College certificates and/or degrees. Many Dual Enrollment courses are also be eligible for transfer to a CSU or UC institution and reduce the amount of coursework towards a four-year degree.

Fall 2026 Courses

Beginning Monday, August 3, through August 15, our team will be hosting a Dual Enrollment Zoom Drop-In Support via Zoom daily from 8:30 AM–4:00 PM. Students can log on at any time during these hours to get real-time help with completing the:

Parent Authorization Form
Dual Enrollment Petition
Referrals to other departments to help them troubleshoot
