The primary goal of the AVID program is to help students achieve their goals related to attending college. The students who are admitted to the AVID program will benefit from the extra support provided throughout their high school career. The program is a strong supporter of first-generation college students.
AVID prepares students for 21st century careers each day by providing the academic and behavioral skills necessary to succeed in the workplace. Organization, time management, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving are strong components of the AVID System.
