California State University Bakersfield, founded in 1965, is a public university set on a beautiful, sprawling 375-acre campus in California's southern San Joaquin Valley. Bakersfield is located in the heart of the west coasts farming and oil-producing regions, at a logistics crossroads of east-west and north-south transportation routes. CSUB is the only regional comprehensive public university within a 100-mile radius. 45 undergraduate degree programs are offered through the Schools of Arts and Sciences, Business and Public Administration, Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Engineering and Social Sciences and Education.

California State University Channel Islands, a four-year, public university in Camarillo, California. Established in 2002, CSUCI is located midway between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles and just 25 miles from Malibu. California State University Dominguez Hills, is located 18 miles south of Downtown Los Angeles in the city of Carson. The campus is close to Southern California cultural and entertainment attractions including the Home Depot Center, home of the LA Galaxy and Chivas USA Professional Soccer Teams. This state of the art sports complex is located on the campus of CSUDH. The three most popular academic programs are Liberal Studies (the teacher preparation program), Business Administration and Nursing.

California State University San Bernardino, founded in 1962, is a public university. CSUSB is a preeminent center of intellectual and cultural activity in inland Southern California. The university enjoys an ideal location in the heart of California's Central Valley, which is a short distance from the San Francisco Bay Area, Monterey, Big Sur, Yosemite National Park , the Sierra Nevada and the governmental hub of Sacramento. The California state legislature established Stanislaus State College in 1957 as the fifteenth campus of the California State University (CSU) system. Classes commenced in September 1960 in temporary quarters located at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds in Turlock. The college moved to its permanent 228-acre site in 1965. Stanislaus State now offers two campuses, one in Turlock and one in Stockton, 45 majors and 44 minors within four academic colleges - College of Business Administration, College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Education, Kinesiology and Social Work, and College of Science.
